  1. There’s a song called “The Whale” written by my dear friend Terry Fielding, a number 1 hit here in Australia back in 1972… I’ll see if I can find and send to you.

    • I’m curious as to why it is not a true haiku? I double checked the syllable count in second line and it was 7, the others 5. Is it the subject matter? Anyway, I always appreciate suggestions or corrections!

  6. I still remember Maui in September for my 20th or was it 25th wedding anniversary…
    I actually saw petroglyphs on some private property. At one time the owner kept up hand rails. But do to folks not being nice the new sign was more or less explore at your own risk. And remember that you were on private land. We didn’t go far. But it was a wonderful week.
